Nearly two thirds of Langata Botanical Gardens is covered by natural bush land containing over 200 species of indigenous plants. It showcases an outstanding collection of both exotic and indigenous flora, fauna and trees. Most of them are known for their medical properties and make for a long and interesting botany lecture.

The park also boasts a beautiful lagoon with step fountains and waterways that go around the park. The lagoon is a treasure trove of many different fish and the waterway that empties into it spots other various water plants and animals all around the park. This water feature is at its best during the wet seasons with the water ways flowing and the ponds full and buzzing with life, adding to an all together wonderful park experience of nature as it should be. Different people love to come for a relaxing fishing experience at the lagoon.

The Botanical Garden boasts a state of the art conference facility. Our conference facilities include open air and indoor meeting space. Participants can chose between a selection of lush green lawns that can host up to 500 pax or an indoor meeting space hosting up to 50 pax. Guests may opt for buffet style or ala carte menus that can be tailored to the participants preferences. All facilities such as conference stationary, flip charts, projectors, internet services, laptops and P.A. systems are all ready available.
